New Oxford Proteox Fridges at Hatlab

Hatlab-2

The Hatlab now has two brand new Oxford Proteox dilution refrigerators, named The Brain and Ellen Ripley, at Science Park on Yale’s campus. This recently-constructed lab space will accommodate up to eight experimental faculty. In the short term it is the shared office and lab space of Hatlab and the Rob Schoelkopf lab. The two new fridges will support new projects such as a 6-qubit processor and low-anaharmonicity transmons to study the measurement-power limits of superconducting qubits. The new lab space also has a new chemical bay, probe station, electronics workshop, and other tools to support rapid turn around on experiments.
